• I am seeking forbears of my gt gt grandfather, James Dowd who came from Keash and who came to New Zealand in 1849. His parents were Andrew Dowd and Ellen Murphy. James drowned in his thirties and his wife Catherine died in childbirth so no history was ever passed down. I would be grateful for any information at all about Dowds from Keash Parish. Thank YOu.
