About Calypso

Calypso uses imagination and invention to tell dramatic stories and look at people whose lives are shaped by dramatic events. We make engaging plays, outdoor spectacles, creative events.

But the work does not exist in a vacuum. We are very aware of the need for follow-up.

In conjunction with theatrical productions, we publish and disseminate educational material on the issues raised in our plays and projects. We also devise and administrate seminars, debates and workshops around the same issues.
