Sheep
| A daddy sheep is called a ram. A mammy sheep is called a ewe. A baby sheep is called a lamb. Sheep all have a good coat of wool, but the colour of their faces can be different. They can be black faced , white faced and speckled. The mountain sheep are a smaller breed then the Merino and have sometimes got horns. They can have up to four lambs at a time . They love short sweet grass and therefore are not normally farmed along with a Dairy Herd . Their meat is called mutton. Sheep are timid animals. They are often woried by dogs which can lead to death. They have a short life. Irwin |
