Stamps and Irish Birds

We have a stamp club here in the school.
It is called "The Seasiders Stamp Club".
The project was written and researched by pupils of Mr O'Neachtain's 3rd class,and members of "The Seasiders Stamp Club".

The fifth series of Irish definitive stamps went on sale on January,16th.1997. The stamps were designed by the renowned wildlife artist Killian Mullarney. By viewing this project, we hope to show you how we used the hobby of stamp collecting, as a springboard to explore other areas of interest within the school curriclum.To learn more about Irish birds click here

This project links research, nature study and technology together and we hope you find it of interest. We learnt a lot doing it and we hope you enjoy our efforts.
