A Reflective Prayer
for the Holy Souls
God in Heaven I pray at this time of the year for the Holy Souls,
my departed family and friends, and for those who have no one
to pray for them. That you may grant them a place in Heaven with
your prophets and saints, they served you faithfully in this life,
despite the ups and downs that make up life itself. I may have
been hard on them while they were on earth. I ask your forgiveness,
and pray that you may give me strength to carry on your work where
they left off and that one day we will all be together again in
the joys of Paradise, which was won for each of us through the
suffering, Death and Resurrection of your Son Jesus. Eternal rest
grant unto them O Lord and let your light forever shine on them.
Amen
