- no ceasefire in the war of words -

Language is everything. Without it, we are nothing. It is the link between our mind and our body, between us and the Universe. It not only allows us to turn ideas into reality, but for us to perceve reality. When we speak, write, gesture, or make signals or signs, we have the power to transport concepts into the realm of material being. Signifiers not only allow us to experience, but communicate our view of reality. Reality is , after all, only a subjective perception - subtly different for each of us, depending on our circumstances and viewpoint. Communication is manipulation. Language is not just a tool, but a weapon...

Phutyle International, in conjunction with semTEXT, has produced three booklets celebrating the subversive nature of language, both textual and pictorial.
