Irish Countrywomen's Association
Members meet regularly, make new friends, discover new interests
and discuss matters of mutual concern.
Members have the
opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills in gardening, cookery,
home economics,
the arts and crafts.
Members may study
historical, scientific, literary and cultural subjects as well
as taking part in dancing, musical and dramatic activities.
The Abbeydorney branch of the Irish Countrywomen's Association
was reformed in September 1981 after a lapse of many years.
