The revolutionary Aberlink 3D measurement software is specially designed around a graphical interface, not just with graphics added on. As a component is inspected, a picture of it is created on the computer screen. Dimensions between the measured features are then picked off as required, exactly as they appear on the component drawing. The software is designed for the first time user, the ease of use means greater productivity & profitability. Aberlink 3D software will run under any Windows operating system & supports links to CAD, MS Excel, & external Statistical Process Control packages.
Dimensions & Geometrical Tolerances are added to the inspection drawing exactly as they appear on the component drawing. Output can be in the form of fully dimensioned drawings, tabulated units, dimensions, point positions, as DXF files, or to Excel spreadsheets. Statistical Process Control analysis can also be carried out.
The software has been designed to be extremely intuitive. The Feature Select option will automatically detect the feature being measured & even knows when you have finished one feature & moved on to another. The software is very easy for the first time user to pick up. - If you can read a drawing, you can use Aberlink 3D measurement software.
The Dimension Type button allows you to choose whether the result is:- A Horizontal Dimension A Vertical Dimension A 2D Aligned Dimension A 3D Aligned Dimension A 2D Angular Dimension A 3D Angular Dimension A Diameter Dimension
Your company name appears on all output. The Settings Menu allows you to configure the software to suit your particular needs.
The maximum number of data points per feature & number of features are limited only by the system resources.
The profile of features is produced & can be printed out.
Undo & Redo buttons along with tool tips help new users to quickly become highly productive
The software, when used with a camera, enables you to carry out vision inspection with the CMM.
The Aberlink 3D Measurement Software is supplied as standard on all Aberlink CMM's & is also available separately to retrofit to your existing CMM. We can retrofit your existing CMM or optical projector with the Aberlink 3D software
