Major work to date has involved research and contribution into formulation of enterprise strategy ('Shaping Our Future') and a national competitiveness report (forthcoming). Other work encompasses issues ranging from the impact of currency fluctuations on Irish industry to the assessing the implications of the 'Year 2000' problem for Irish industry plus responsibility for economic queries and for co-ordination of on-line access to OECD database catalogues.

Teaching Assistant to Professor Dermot McAleese for Senior Freshman (second year) course in Intermediate Economics. Duties included teaching, grading of examination scripts and 'clinic hours' with students.
