Ballinamere N.S.

The Gnome

As I hunted down the creature,

It sensed that I was coming nearer,

And as I took out my net and gun,

It heard a noise and started to run,

So as I chased on after it.

The sky became dark and no-longer lit,

I stopped and listened for a sound,

But the gnome had left, homeward bound.

So I turned and headed for my home,

And I never did catch that short,

Little

Gnome.
