The Ballinamere team has been very successful over the years.Every year Cumann Na mBunscol organise an inter school football League. The competition usually begins in May. We take part in this competition and last year the U-13 team won the cup by beating Mucklagh (a local school) in the final.

We also have a football league within the school. There are eight teams in the league. We have a match every day at twelve thirty.Children from first class to sixth class take part in the league. At the end of the year the winning team are presented with medals.
