2003:

The U-10 team prior to their challenge match against St. Finbarrs played last Saturday June 7.  The team are wearing their new strip for the first time,  purchased by the Juvenile Committee.   We unfortunately were beaten by "the Barrs" on a score of 3-3 to 2-2. Head coach Kieran Field claimed a moral victory after a magnificent fight back in the second half, which saw Ballinora score 2-1 to the Barrs 0-1. The Ballinora scorers were Patrick Fitton with 2 points and "Super Sub" Sandor Collins who scored 2 brilliant goals. It was a great game all the Ballinora players got a game with the exception of the couple who had to dash to scouts, all had great fun and are looking forward to playing in the mid-Cork League which starts on June 21.
