The Three Investigators are a group of boys lead by Jupiter Jones. Bob Andrews and Pete Crensaw are the other boy's names. When Jupiter is mistakenly kidnapped for someone else the Three Investigators start into action. Jupiter was put into an inclosed shed by his captives were his excellent skills help him to escape and find his way home. When the investigators realise that the real person who the kidnappers wanted could be in real danger. And when that person contacts them telling them that his father is a member of the government and will hold for ransom for some secrets if he is caught, the investigators get really excited. First they must find the boy and then track down the criminals. This is a very exciting book; the three investigators get mixed up in some serious government problems, and get mixed up with some big guys with guns. This is a most fantastic book, the best I have ever read!
