Cloghroe, Blarney, County Cork, Ireland

Blairs Inn is in a secluded riverside wooded setting in the heart of the country.
In Winter, warm welcoming coal fires flicker in the wooden interior of the bars. In Summer, Blairs is renowned for its spectacular floral displays and patio and gardens which have seating for over one hundred people. In Summer trout can be seen to "rise" in the Owennageara, the Sheep River, which bounds the garden.
Situated on the R579, a short distance from Blarney the emphasis in food is on International dishes with a nostalgic Irish country flavour. Extensive day and evening menus feature varied dishes which include: a large selection of Seafood prepared from freshly caught fish delivered daily from Kemare and Dingle; poultry including French reared Poussin (baby chicken) and Irish reared Duckling; Lamb and Steaks from prime Munster herds; and in season Game including Pheasant, Partridge, Quail and Venison. Imaginative Starters and delicious Desserts complete very fine menus.
Lunch and Dinner may be reserved in the candle lit Snug or the Pantry dining areas and at Lunchtime food is served in the Bar, and in Summer, in the garden. Lunch is served seven days a week from 12/30pm to 3/30pm and each evening dinner is served from 6/30pm. A Bar Menu is also available throughout the day.
As well as having a good food reputation Blairs is a popular "local" and it fulfils the normal social functions of a busy Irish pub with people of all age groups and backgrounds engaged in animated discussion.
Traditional Irish Music is featured each Monday at 9pm from April to October and there is music each Sunday at 9pm throughout the year. Entry is free of charge.
John and Anne Blair are the hosts and a warm welcome awaits visitors to Blairs Inn.
