GAA Club Call - Ard An Ratha.

As a mark of respect to the family of the late Charlie Bennett we will not publish any club notes this week.

Charlie had been involved with the Ardara GAA Club since the late forties.  He played a vital role in the Ardara Minor Team that won the county title in 1952 and indeed represented the Club at County Level for many years in the fifties.  He held many positions within the Club - Club Secretary in 1964, Club Chairman in 1983, 84 and in 1985.  He has been Chairman of our Club Development Committee in the the ninties.  Charlie was a very special human person who through his work at communtiy level would have effected us all in someway and especially here in Cuman Luath Chleas Gael Ard An Ratha.  To his wife Marian, daughter Sinead, son Cathal, his brothers and sisters we extend our deepest sympathy.

Ar dheis De go raibh a anam.
