Fáilte/Welcome

Cumann na mBunscol, Co. Shligigh, welcomes visitors to this site. Our organization promotes the Gaelic games of hurling, camogie, football and handball in the primary schools of County Sligo, Ireland. We also run an annual table quiz. We feature regularly in the local weekly newspapers "The Sligo Champion" and "The Sligo Weekender" as well as "Scoilspórt", the annual publication of our parent organisation, Cumann na mBunscol Náisiúnta. Our fixtures booklet is published in spring each year. We celebrated ten years of Cumann na mBunscol activity in 1998 with the publication of "Cúl", a book which gives a view of our activities over the previous decade. "Cúl" won the Roadstone Award in the "Best Publication" category for that year.
