Members of National Roads Authority

Deciders on types of roads and where they are built

These are the members of the National Roads Authority - the NRA.  They are the people in charge.  The NRA decides the type of roads that are built and where they are built. The Roads Act 1993 is the legislation that facilitated the setting up of the NRA. Section 40 of this act requires the members to make declarations of interest. These declarations are available to the public at the NRA head office at St. Martin's House, Waterloo Road, Dublin 4.

The information here has been obtained from Review 2000 and Programme for 2001, a National Roads Authority publication.
