undertaken to identify where and in what manner national roads

We
call upon the NRA to revert to its former policy
immediately. This policy, outlined in their National Road
Needs Study (1998), was abandoned by them without explanation, at great
cost. Now, without effective consultation and without consent,
they are proceeding to construct a completely unsuitable tolled
motorway network. In particular

Current roads policy in Ireland, therefore aims at an overall balance, focuses on key economic corridors, supports an adequate dispersal of economic development and seeks to bypass congested towns and villages. It concentrates on: -
