Nest: | The blue tit makes her nest in a hole in a tree or in a nesting box. She makes her nest out of moss and twigs and dried grass. She lines it with feathers and fine grass. The mammy blue tit lays 5-12 eggs with reddish flecks. |
Feeding | The mammy blue tit feeds the baby blue tits.The blue tit likes caterpillars.The blue tit eats nuts, worms, seeds, insects and caterpillars. The blue tit is acrobatic and is able to hang onto the feeding bags very easily. The blue tit is a dominant bird at the feeder and bosses the other birds. |
