Cottage on site with cooking facilities only (not suitable for
sleeping). Storage facilities also available.

Castleconnell campsite is situated 7 miles from Limerick City.
It has one large camping field of 3 acres and one small camp
field of 0.5 acre. It can sleep up to 400 campers. Toilet
block with shower facilities, hot and cold water available.
Campsite open from March to October.
The campsite is situated 10 minutes walk from the River Shannon.
There is plenty of scope for hiking, exploring, sightseeing,
fishing, swimming, etc. Firewood available on site.

The House can accommodate 34 people. Kitchen facilities available,
also hot and cold water.

Curragh Chase Scout Centre is situated in the heart of
Curragh Chase Forest Park. There is camping for 10 Patrols.
Toilet and washing facilities on site.
Curragh Chase Scout Centre offer a wide range of activities,
including several graded orienteering courses, pioneering,
backwoods and mountain survival techniques. It also offers
plenty of opportunity for those interested in cycling.

The cottage has accommodation for 12 with a Leader room for 3. It
has a day room (in which campbeds may be used), a fully fitted
kitchen, toilets and washroom.

The campsite is ideal for 6/7 Patrols. It has a toilet block and
water supply available on site.
The cottage and campsite is situated on the grounds of Glenstal
Abbey and the area is ideal for tracking, hiking, exploring,
pioneering, orienteering and wide games. Swimming and canoeing
in Glenstal Lake is available by arrangement with the community
in Glenstal Abbey.
