Lough Dan House is ideally situated between mountain and lake and
provides accommodation for approx 32 people. The modern interior
is designed for large groups and is fully fitted with comfortable
furnishings. 3 dormitories (8 beds in each), 2 smaller dormitories
(4 beds in each), shower and toilet facilities, recreational
common/dining area, fully fitted kitchen.
Bunkhouse: A separate dormitory (6 beds),fitted kitchen/common
room area, Trading Post : Coffee Bar open on site. Refreshments,
sweets, hot coffee/tea etc available.

21 individual sites on 20 acres on the lake shore. Shower and
toilet facilities on site in separate building near the main
entrance. Tap water on site. Firewood provided on site (altar
fires only)
Activities such as hiking, mountain biking, assault course,
nature trail, abseiling, sailing, canoeing, rafting, swimming,
campfires and rockclimbing are available. Instruction and
equipment are available for some activities such as archery,
orienteering, rockclimbing, pioneering and watersports.

The Cottage can accommate 33 person with a Leaders room for 4. It
has a day room, dining room, toilets & washrooms, kitchen with
gas and electric cookers. Heating throughout.

climbing. Bray, Powerscourt Estate and National Conservation

This campsite is situated in the wooded estate of Powerscourt. Firewood
and water available. Chemical toilets only (may be hired).
The campsite has great scope for most Scout/Guide activities. The River
Dargle forms part of the boundary, and in this river there are a number
of pools which are suitable for swimming.

Glendale lodge is a timber cabin situated in the Glencree
Valley. Accommodation consists of 24 beds in a 10-8-4-2
combination. The cabin has a dining room/kitchen complete
with a water boiler, four ring domestic cooker and
refrigerator. Toilet facilities include a flush toilet and
two showers. Cooking pots and utensils are provided but you
need to bring cutlery, plates, mugs and sleeping bags.

There are no camping facilities.
The cabin is an ideal base for Venture Scouts/Rangers on
hillwalking, cycling expeditions in the Wicklow Mountains or
for P/L training courses in the traditional Scout/Guide
skills. The adjacent woodlands provide an ideal setting for
such programme activities as exploring, hillwalking, nature
study games.
