Vivienne at the school

Vivienne Doyle went to our school and became famous when she won the Miss Ireland title in 1998. She then went on to represent Ireland in the Miss World Competition later on in the year. This photograph was taken when she came to visit the school during her reign as Miss Ireland.

The picture on the right is of Christy O'Connor Junior who also attended our school. Christy went on to become a famous professional golfer who won tournaments all over Europe. He also represented Europe in the Ryder Cup in 1989 when he hit that famous iron shot that won the cup for Europe.

A good shot!
