A Craft Centre was established in the school in 1993. Our
teacher Miss Smyth and we go to the Craft Room each week to work on
numerous items including all the props and costumes for our school project
Treabh na dTonn. At the turn of the millennium we created a Millennium
Tile Mural. This is now on display on the corridor walls. At present we
are working on updating our costumes for the St. Patrick's Day Parade.
Come along to the parade next year and see the finished product!

In 1993 the children of the school built a
Claddagh Hooker under the guidance of master craftsman Jim Horgan. It was
launched at Nimmo's Pier by the Mayor of Galway Padraic McCormack.
