Introduction Ireland
Ireland lies west of Britain on the very edge of Europe. It is an island of
unique and spectacular beauty and a country which has remained one of the most natural and
unspoilt of Europe. The island has remained a green country with clear rivers and wondrous
mountains in abundance. It is a land of ancient civilisation whose folklore and music are
alive and vibrant in the everyday lives of its warm and friendly people.
The School
The Castle Language Centre is located in the heart of County Tipperary, approximately 100 miles
south-west of Dublin. The school itself is located in a specially renovated thatched
cottage, which lies in the shadow of a 16th Century round castle.
At the school we specialise in providing intensive courses for adult
individuals and small groups (maximum 6 persons). Classes run from Monday through
Friday leaving the weekend free to do as you choose (other activities).
At the Castle Language Centre we provide an atmosphere that allows the student an opportunity for total
immersion in the English Language. Our Director of Studies, Mary Finn (Cambridge
RSA CELTA), has been welcoming students from accross the globe for almost 20
years.
