Cooraclare National School was built in 1952. It has eighty  pupils and five teachers. There are thirteen rooms. It is situated one hundred and fifty meters away from the village of Cooraclare in West Clare. The Principal of the school is Mr. Kelly, the Vice-Principal is Mrs. Carey and the other teachers are Mrs. Murphy, Mrs. Donnelly and Mrs. Fitzgerald We play Gaelic Football, soccer and hurling and we participate in Community Games.
