I just spent a week on holiday near to St Finians Bay where sometimes (if the fog had lifted) we were able to see the Skellig Islands. I am 56 years old but still relished jokes created by children - 2nd to 6th standard. Children do like elephants for their lovely habits e.g. sharp memory, hard work, family unit. last year I happen to visit a school in Assam state , Indis. For one full 1/2 day we were told different stories regarding elephant behaviour. We were all professionals but we all enjoyed the stories/events. the school has come up in tea gardon areas where elephant move around freely but they do no damage to people in the area. They are always seen to move in groups. If they are in group you need not be afraid to see them. If you a lone elephant, be scared, the lone elephant is the one who did not obey the commands of his leader and has been thrown out of the herd. the elephant does not like to be cheated.
His peace is not to be disturbed. If you happen to be driving the car and come across the herd of elephant, wait calmly and let them first go. If you blow horn and demand space to move first, elephants will almost crush your car.

I'm from Colorado, and my neighbor told me a long and intricate elephant joke. It was very funny, so we wanted to see if you had it on your website. Guess what! You don't! So here it is: Q: How do you kill a grey elephant? A: With a grey elephant gun. Q: How do you kill a purple elephant? A: NOT with a purple elephant gun. You bake a chocolate chip cookie. You take it to Africa and put it my a herd of elephants. Pretty soon an elephant will come out and eat the cookie and rejoin the herd. Go bake a chocolate chip cookie the size of a dog. Take it outside of the herd of elephants and pretty soon the elephant will come out and eat the cookie. Now go and make a chocolate cookie the size of a car. Take it outside the herd of elephants and leave it. Soon an elephant will come and eat the cookie and go back to the herd. Now make a chocolate chip cookie the size of a whale. But don't put any chocolate chips in it. Now put it outside the herd of elephants and watch. The elephant will come out to eat the cookie and will see it and get mad. I would like to thank all of you for your elephant jokes! I work at a Law Firm in The United States. I am planning our company picnic, which is to be held at the Brookfield Zoo. To gear everyone up for the Picnic I filled a glass jar with peanuts and we are having a contest to see who can correctly guess the number of peanuts in the jar. I was looking for elephant jokes to decorate the outside of the jar with and yours are perfect!

What a great site! I go to high school in Pennsylvania, USA, and I found your site when I was looking for jokes. Your elephant jokes are very smart and funny. I also really liked the pictures of the students' copies of famous paintings. It's a good way to get familiar with well-known artists; I wish we had more of art history type stuff going on at my school. Very cool site... enjoyed looking at it!

A cracking little site, great jokes, even though I remember most of them as a kid myself, nearly halfway through the last century for the other kids out their. A school with a sense of humour and fun!!!! Boy! could we do with a few more like that!!!
