This tomb is called a Court Cairn. A Cairn (from the Irish word Carn) is a mound of stones. It is called a Court because it has a wide entrance.

The tomb is 55 metres long. People were cremated before being put in this tomb.

About 50 people could fit in the wide entrance or court.
