My name is Trevor Collins. I live in Naas, Co Kildare, situated about 20 miles from Dublin, Ireland. I am an electronic engineer working for Motorola. I spent four years studying in Waterford Institute of Technology, Ireland for a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics. The course contains a mixture of hardware and software studies. For my final year project I designed and implemented a light source for photo electronic device calibration. This project involved the use of the 16c74 PIC microcontroller. The light source was interfaced serially to the serial port of a PC allowing for the intensity of the light to be varied remotely.
I am a big fan of formula one racing and follow the Irish Jordan Grand Prix team. I am an Arsenal fan, but also follow A.C. Milan. My favorite programs include Father Ted, Friends and of course The Simpsons.
