The Leinster Re-enactment Society exists to promote re-enactment as a method of interpreting the past. We use re-enactment of events to illustrate scenes from the military, social, commercial and everyday lives of the people of Early Mediaeval Ireland. This involves protrayal of not only the Irish of the 11th to the 14th centuries, but also the Viking, Welsh, and Norman people who settled here.

The Leinster Re-enactment Society is available to custodians of historic sites, heritage centres, festival and community organisations, and can bring our expertise and experience to your location. We will undertake to stage our reenactments in full with minimal involvement of the local organisation, if required. The events are colourful, entertaining and informative.
