For the first time ever, a world exclusive, preparationsare underway for the most advanced and exciting DJ tour ever.Utilising new cutting edge technology the whole concept involvesprimarily 3 DJ's, on 7 turntables, incorporating live drum machines,samplers, keyboards and other various outboard effects into theperformance. This spectacular will also feature a live femalefront vocalist, Lisa Kendrick, and also some of Impulsive Record'sbest DJ's. This concept is being spearheaded by Impulsive Record'sDJs/musicians Dean Sherry, Darren Flynn and TonyDexter (of 'Behavior'). This totally live performance is presently at therehearsal stages. The main show will involve various well chosenrecords being re-mixed live by the 3 artists. Mixing togetheron 7 (!) decks, and adding in totally new drum patterns,new basslines - played both live and programmed, dropping samplesand playing live keyboards over other tracks is a world firston this scale (with 3 DJ's), and also featuring live vocals withguest vocalist Lisa. Some of Impulsive Record's best tracks (bothreleased and unreleased projects) will be featured in the longset and they will also be remixed live. New variations on knownand unheard tracks plus the unknown aural possibilities involvedis what makes this tour unique.
The ever spiralling music will be journey throughHouse, Progressive, Trance, Bangin', Techno, Hard, Drum 'n' Bass,Break-Beats and other variations of the same. This will be anunprecedented event and it will lead the way and help pave thepath for other 'Future DJ' events worldwide. This will be yetanother positive spoke off the great wheel that is dance music.
