• Mackie CR 1604 Mixer Excellent sound quality and more head-room than the Pope-mobile is what makes this mixer my choice. It has it all, not to mention being built like a brick shit-house!
• Digitech Studio Quad ‘More sound for your pound!’, an invaluable weapon in your sonic arsenal. Great multi-FX unit.
• Beringer Composer Run your drums through it, run your vocals through it. This serious Compressor/Limiter gives excellence to the masses.
• Akai S3000xl sampler With 10 outputs, loadsa compatibility and a built in midi file player, this beast is my studio centrepiece.

• Yamaha AN1x Keyboard Digital trying to be analogue??? Mutton dressed as lamb??? When it sounds this good who cares?!!! A worthwhile addition to any studio with breathtaking sounds and controllers.
• Quasimidi Technox Getting on a bit now but still a great tool.
• Korg X5 DR module Stuffed with great sounds. As a note though I am soon upgrading to the NS5R module.

• Tascam DA 20 DAT machine An affordable DAT like this should be on everybody’s list.
• BBE Sonic Maximizer 362 Unsubtle sound enhancer. Adds enough bass to bring down a building!
• Philips CDRr Hee hee, Re-Writable CD-R’s! Don’cha just love it?!
