This a small hands-on company, founded by Dick Byrne when he first went solo in 1967, having previously functioned in the Architectural practices of two large local firms, and spent some time as an Art director in the Movie industry. We specialise in smaller accounts from £40,000.00 up to around £500,000.00. In this way we manage to give a more personal, hands-on, service, visiting sites d supervising works on a regular basis; planning, from sketch proposals to finished design, and entering into the planning procedure on behalf of our clients.
We have a good relationship with the planning offices in this area (Ireland West)and are well versed in the particulars of the planning process here; in the Connemara area, for example, many sites are now designated as high amenity areas..

We are particularly renowned for our ability to listen to, and advise our clients on the most suitable method of dealing with their particular planning problems,and advising on the suitability of their sites or potential sites for planning permission.

We have spent many years involved in the restoration of old houses in the rural areas around Galway. Our own premises for example, is well over three hundred years old. We have also  gained a considerable reputation as pub designers.
