This £500, 000 plus job, consists of a large Seafood restaurant in Quay Street Galway renowned Worldwide, with three large dwellings over, all in the period style suitable to this area in old Galway. Completed in September 1997.

This is easily the best known gift shop in the West of Ireland, and since it's completion, has become perhaps the most photographed building in Galway City. In the tourist season, it is common to see tourists in groups taking pictures of this attractive building, While many architects might consider this as pastice, it is, we feel, the perfect vehicle for the trade which the client, Ms Mary Bennett, carries out. Old fashioned buildings sit well in the environment of Galway's old street's and in fact, are easier to get past the planners here, as they feel  that very  modern buildings do not suit the City's image, and do not sit happily in the mediaeval streetscape of old Galway.(Photo page2)
