TO THE EDITOR
A Sincere Thank You
The Committee of Douglas Senior Citizens would like to thank
most sincerely the management of the Douglas Village Shopping
Centre for their generous Give Away Cash for the
Community, which we won in last weeks draw and we assure
them of our continued support in the future.
We would also like to thank our nominator Mrs Joan OGrady
who choose us. We are very grateful to her and assure everybody
concerned that the money will be spent for the benefit of all our
members.

Attention O'Callaghan Family
Dear Douglas Weekly
I am helping a friend in the US research of his O'Callaghan
relatives from Cork and came across your Volume 4 - Issue 18, 3rd
May, 2001, where you highlighted a young author, Billy
O'Callaghan, and what I presume are some of his family, Regina
and Derry O'Callaghan. Our research leads us to believe these may
be relatives.
Is there any way you could pass a message on to the family on our
behalf? The details we have are for a Martin J. O'Callaghan, born
29 March 1962. If this could be forwarded on to the O'Callaghans
featured in your piece and if they find any of it sounds
familiar, please have them contact me. I can be reached as below
or they may phone me at home (reverse charges, if they'd like) at
001-215-942-2791.
Thank you in advance,

Thank You from Hillcrest training and Development Centre
Just a note to thank the Douglas Village Shopping Centre for
including us in the Cash for Our Community Promotion.
It is greatly appreciated by everyone here and the 1,000
will go toward the cost of replacing our pottery kiln which broke
down last week.
If we can ever be of assistance, do not hesitate to call.
With Thanks Again

Crime 'Red Alert'
Deputy Noel OFlynn as a Soldier of Destiny
or an Independent will be elected to Dáil Éireann because of
his stand against, not only refugee messers, but messers in
general on Leeside.
Present scenario in the Beautiful City; old folks
living in fear, young thugs on every corner of private and
council estates. Vacant houses wrecked by out all night mindless
morons. Parents of said yobbos and yobbettes giving zero
satisfaction to complaining victims.
If Gardai cannot solve the problem, bring our Rangers
home from foreign fields, to give those in autumn years a bit of
peace. If the government fail to act, next stop vigilantes or
other organisations waiting in the wings to protect innocent
rebel citizens.
Act now Bertie or rue your long finger policy sooner (Election
Time) rather than later!
