Beavers are having a district outing to Fort Lucan before they close for the
summer.
Where: Fort Lucan
Time: 10am leaving the Den, 2pm arrive back to Den
Cost: £4.50 per beaver. The price includes a game of crazy golf or a go
on the water slide. They are insured.
Beavers to bring a spare set of cloths and a towel
Beavers to bring a packed lunch
Please put all in a small backpack or school bag
Neckerchief and woggle to be worn
To keep the cost at £4.50 we are asking parents for
help with trasport.

Monday and Friday Beavers are holding a joint slumbernight along with a
visiting team from Kilbride in the Scouts Den Dunboyne.
It is an evening of fun, and a chance for the beavers to really get to know
other teams.
Cost: £5.00 per beaver.
Check in time: 6pm (Friday) - Pick up time: 11am (Saturday)

Ash Pack has been able to get a campsite for their annual camp. It is at
Larch Hill (near Rathfarnham in the Dublin Mountains). They will be going from
the den on Friday 1st June at 4.30 pm and will return on Sunday
the 3rd June at 4.30pm. Those wishing to come on camp they
should bring to the next meeting £40.00 with them to secure their place.

The Group is holding it's annual founders day service on Tuesday, 13th February at 7:00. The venue this year will be the Church of Ireland Parish Church Dunboyne. We would like to see all beavers, cubs, scouts & ventures scouts present. Full uniform please!! A colletion will be taken up and we would ask all to have 50p with them for church collection. Please drop your son/daughter off at the church all at 6:45 at the latest. Collection time 8:00.
We will have the usual tea/bisuits after our church service. Parents are most welcome.
Both Friday and Monday's Beaver teams have organized a joint outing to the Panto "Jack and the Beanstalk" which will take place in Kells.
Beavers to meet at the Den 1.30 pm for coach trip, aarriving back to the Den at 6:30pm (approx.)
In order to keep the cost down we are inviting one of the beavers sister or bother who are in Cubs to join us on this outing. This will be on a first come, first seved basis.
The cost of outing is £5.00 per child.
Beavers and Cubs to wear full uniform. We are asking parents to provide beavers/cubs with a small snack. We hope all Beavers will attend.
Wednesday Cubs (Sycamore Pack) are going to Blanchardtown
Leisureplex for an hour's bowling and then on to McDonald's.
Meet
at Bus stop beside church at 6:45 pm.
Cost per cub is £6.00 - this covers the bowling, a happy meal
and trasport to Blanchardstown.
Parents: We need help with transport back from
Blanchardstown.
Meet us outside Leisureplex at approx. 9:30 pm. Please let us
know if you can help before we leave Dunboyne.
District Beavers are having their Christmas party on
Saturday, 9th of December, at 1:30 pm - 5:00 pm at the Den.
It should be a fun day for all beavers. We have a magician and
disco arranged plus our dear friend Santa. A lot of work has gone
into the preparation for this event and with all beavers from the
district attending the craic will be enjoyable.
Beavers to bring snack and a drink.
Cost per Beaver: £4.50
On Friday, 1/12 the scouts went to Leisureplex at Blanchardtown
Centre where they played bowling and qzar.
On Saturday, 25/11 the cubs had a sleepover on the Den. After the
Saturday evening mass they returned to the Den where they played,
watched a video and eventually slept.
1st Meath Dunboyne Scout Group is holding its A.G.M. on Tuesday, 28th
November, at 8:30
pm. in the Scout Den.
As this is the night to register your child in scouting and to
pay the first half of his/her subscription we look forward to
seeing you all on that night.
The news are that a website for 1st Meath (Dunboyne) Scout Group
was created!!!
