A historic day for the County of Leitrim as Dustin rides Irish horse 'Istabrac' to a English Grand National win. We hope you had him backed...the 33/1 shot was the surprise winner in the festival's center piece.
Speaking to this web site minutes after his win, Dustin had this to say; "It's a great honor for me to be the first Leitrim person to win the English Grand National. Me and 'Ista' are good mates and that makes it extra special".
After every good Irish win the papers the following day always pay tribute to our sporting heroes - Dustin was no different. He is pictured here in the Irish Sun as he enters the paddock to the delight of the crowd.
