" Mouse " , Michael's nickname, was a leading amateur jockey before turning professional in 1975. During the next 6 years he achieved international acclaim. He rode the winners of the Grand National and the Queen Mother Champion Chase at the National Hunt Festival in Cheltenham. In 1981 Mouse began business as a National Hunt trainer. He is highly respected for his success with horses such as Buck House, Boss Doyle, Foxchapel King, His Song, What a Question, Doorstep, Attitude Adjuster, Door Latch, Aonoch, Lastofthebrownies, Trapper John and Cahervillahow.

Having bought such horses as His Song, Attitude Adjuster, Trapper John, What a Question and Boss Doyle he would only be too glad to advise on purchases for the individuals, syndicates, partnerships and racing clubs.
