My name is Jacklyn Ramona Thompson.
I am a pupil of Raymond  Marquith School here in East Galesburg, Illinois. I get up at 6:45 am each morning.I come to school by bus and car.The journey takes about 10 minutes.A lot of older kids who go to the High School and Junior High School travels with me.I arrive in school at about 7:50 am.

Class begins at 8:10am.For the first period we usually do spelling.We get a break in the morning but not every day.We get a break in the morning at about 10.00 am.The break lasts for about 15 minutes.At break time we go outside and I play with my friends.

I do not bring a snack to school with me. On a wet day I play Battleship, which is a board game.

For second period we do reading. Math is my favourite subject in school. Lunch break is at 11:05 am.It lasts for 55 minutes.I sometimes have lunch in school. I bring sandwiches, rice crispy treats, an apple, a drink, or some grapes.I don't go home for lunch.I play in the schoolyard with my other friends at lunchtime.

Math, computers, science, social studies and English take place in the afternoons.Yes I enjoy reading? We get no homework in our school. School finishes at 3:15pm.

We spend 7 hours at school each day.Kids that don't pay attention annoy me in school. I like Math and writing on computers.I like writing to our new friends in Ireland.

I like my teacher. She is nice. She teaches us new things everyday.We get to do experiments. We do fun activities.
