Jamaica here we come --:

Next thing we knew was we were gliding along the surface of the water. The plane took a swing to the left, then to the right. The plane crashed into the Atlantic Ocean. Water went by the windows. After, what seemed likejamap.gif (29086 bytes) an eternity the plane came to a stop. I looked around the aircraft. We had survived the impact. There was no sign of the crew. Mum had received a slight cut to her forehead on impact but the rest of us escaped without a scratch. "I want to go home," she kept saying. "Later, dear, later" my father kept reassuring her.

"Where is Superman, when you want him" I thought to myself. Dad kicked out a window in desperation and helped us out of the plane, one by one. Mom wasn't leaving without her make up bag. This time Dad just didn't listen, he just threw her over his shoulder and headed for the life raft. Luckily I had spotted a life raft at the rear of the plane and managed to get it inflated. We swam to the safety of this flimsy craft.

"This is a fine start to our holidays" my mother muttered, yet again. Nobody was listening this time to her constant moans. The crew in their efforts to land us safely had not survived the crash. We were on our own, in a life raft somewhere in the Atlantic, with no way of contacting the outside world, no food or protection from the weather. After many hours, darkness began to fall and we all began to feel cold and hungry.

boy1.gif (33948 bytes)We sat there in silence wondering what would happen to us. My tummy began to rumble. Susie said very little, she just clutched on to her doll. A hundred and one questions raced through my mind. Would we be rescued? What about food shelter storms, and yes, sharks? Dad, our cool clear hero kept reassuring us that we would come out of this safely. Mom, kept complaining about something or other. Susie remained very quiet. I needed to remain calm and confident. What would the next few hours bring .Next thing I knew
was I fell asleep
