And there are many ways to divide the space between passengers and luggage. The Volvo V70 is a front-wheel drive car. If you prefer to face winter roads with four-wheel drive, however, choose the V70 AWD, in which the power is automatically distributed between the wheels for the best possible grip on the road. So you¹re welcome to come and discover a really versatile car!

It is the sum total of the individual parts that determines how safe a car is, not the individual parts themselves. In a Volvo V70, safety is integrated right from the drawing board. The engine, wheel suspension, steering and brakes have all been designed to have exactly the right characteristics to help the driver avoid accidents. And the entire body is designed to increase the chances of the occupants surviving a collision. The passenger compartment is surrounded by a robust safety cage which is reinforced with highstrength steel. The front and rear ends of the car are designed to crumple in a collision so that the force of the impact is reduced mildly but effectively.
