Whacky Racers take back lead.

A second in class in Galway gave us maximum points this weekend as the class winner wasn't registered.

After a gearbox problem over the first loop of stages (stuck in fourth !!) which cost a lot of time,

we struggled through and the gearbox finally gave us back all the gears on SS4.

Car otherwise ran well but couldn't make up the time lost and gave second best.

We now hold a 2 (drivers) and 3 (navigators) point lead in the National Championship with two events to go.

Things are about to get very interesting !!!!!

Scrutineers also sealed our engine, we now have 45 days to present engine for measuring !!!

STROKE = 76.94 mm

Swept Capacity = 1606 cc

Our class limit is 1650 cc, so it's all systems go.
