The NEW top-class golf driving range at Gormanstown Manor is the place to go to practice your swing in the Irish weather.When the rain is pouring down, dedicated golfers can practice to their hearts content until the sun comes out.
The new top-of-the-range golfing facility was opened in May 2000, largely in response to customer demand. The driving range is constructed to a state of the art design. It is properly landscaped and with floodlighting installed, will be open to the public all year round.
Other facilities include a putting area and a bunker. There is also a car park, toilets and a television and radio room for the use of golfer's companions.
The driving range is well laid out and equipped with all the latest technology. There is a machine to dispense golf balls, a machine to collect golf balls and even a machine to clean golf balls!
The premises are supervised at all times. Margaret and Martin Murphy have made it the driving range's policy to have flexible opening hours. People will be facilitated from daylight to dark. And if they want to come particularly early, all they have to do is ring ahead on 0404 69432.
