A recent addition to the Museum is a brand new, state-of-the-art Planetarium.

This added feature gives us the ability to approach the subject of how mariners used to navigate, and also provide dazzling star and light shows.

With education and entertainment in mind, the Planetarium (one of only 3 in Ireland), will be available to schools to visit as well as the general public.  In conjunction with the Museum we feel that a visit could be a valuable learning experience.

Planetarium is that we can view the stars on any date, going back to the birth of Christ and beyond, and see the changes that have occurred in the last two millennia.
