  • For data and fax services on the move including email and internet the Smart CELLectTM data cable and software provides an intelligent cable RS232 connection to a cellular phone. It is also great value for money, . It is fast and easy to set up, and comes with a full utility/phone management software suite. Mobile data laptop users can send and receive SMS messages, fax and data at up to 9600 bps (without compression) using this new cable. Additionally, an external power connection is available. The great news for existing Motorola users is that the CELLectTM1+ and 3 PC Cards are also compatible with the v3688 using a new cable.

Compatibility with other networks: The v3688 has customised software for the Orange network and comes SIM locked, that means it will only operate with Orange SIM cards. It is possible to have the phone unlocked for use on any GSM900 or 1800 network and Orange will do this for a fee. Unfortunately full compatibility when using with non Orange SIMs cannot be guaranteed.
