SPR8000 Range

SRP8000 range

Customising radios by traditional methods is time-consuming and interferes with productivity and operational efficiency. Simoco's unique SRP8000 SIM-Plug overcomes these problems by giving simple, rapid customisation.

Simoco's SIM-Plug is a device which memorizes the user's identity and the radio's programmed functions (SIM-Plug, formerly known as User Memory Plug - UMP).

One radio + SIM-Plugs = multiple users + multiple functions

{short description of image} Cost-effectiveness
Each radio user has their own personalised SIM-Plug. This means that one radio can be shared amongst several users, thus reducing the amount of radios required. This in turn reduces the overall system cost.
{short description of image} Operational efficiency
The customised SIM-Plug can be plugged into any SRP8000 radio for greater operational flexibility.
{short description of image} Adaptability
Simoco's SRP8000 radios are compatible with all leading manufacturers' systems.
{short description of image} Conventional/trunked
Simoco's SRP8000 can be programmed to operate on either trunked or conventional systems.

IMPROVED COMMUNICATION

Radio communication doesn't always take place in ideal conditions. It can be difficult to separate a voice message from background noise. Confidentiality is also an issue, particularly if messages include sensitive information. Simoco's SRP8000 range has the answers.

{short description of image} Dynamic audio power
The audio level adapts automatically to background sound levels, ensuring clear communication in the noisiest environment.
{short description of image} Dynamic transmitter power
Simoco's SRP8000 radios automatically adapt their transmitter power, reducing battery consumption and also reducing the risk of interference.
{short description of image} Text messaging
Status messages can be transmitted and received quickly, easily and securely.
{short description of image} Inter-operability
SRP8000 users can make telephone calls via private (PABX) and public (PSTN) exchanges, on suitably equipped networks.
{short description of image} Integration
Simoco's SRP8000 radios operate with mobiles, dispatchers and base stations to create complete integrated solutions.

SECURITY AND PERSONAL SAFETY

Radio users operating in dangerous environments depend on equipment that will guarantee reliable communication. Simoco's SRP8OOO radios offer unique features to enhance security and personal safety.

{short description of image} SIM-Plug protection
There's no need to worry about passwords. The SIM-Plug can be used to ensure the radio can only be switched on by the authorised user.
{short description of image} Kill, Stun and Revive
Simoco's SRP8OOO can be remotely disabled or enabled using the Kill, Stun and Revive facility. Very useful if the radio is stolen or being misused
{short description of image} Emergency alarm
Simoco's SRP8OOO range offers an emergency alarm capability, which can be activated in dangerous situations in two ways:
The Emergency Button is conveniently located at the base of the antenna, making it easy to find.
In addition, the SIM-Plug can be preprogrammed so that if it is removed from the radio it sends a silent alarm to base.
