| Rathcoole Glebe was built in 1792 as the rectory for Rev.
Joseph Elwood. It later became the dispensary doctor's residence. On the 15th
of March, 1981 it was officially opened as The Four Districts Day Care Centre
by Dr. Patrick Hillery, the President of Ireland, serving the senior citizens
of Brittas, Newcastle, Rathcoole and Saggart. |
