A three peice from Kells, Co.Meath, Swampshack were described as a cross between Metallica and The Beach Boys. They played numerous support gigs in Dublin to Teenage Fanclub, Ice-T and Soul Asylm amongst others. Their only two releases were the "Screamer" e.p. and a mini l.p. "Damage" on Independent records. Ian and Ollie from Swampshack can now be found in a new three piece based in Dublin called "Turn".
