Fox Hunting
Meath is excellent hunting country. There
are several meets of the Meath hounds in the general area of Kells,
including the traditional Boxing Day (December 26th) meet in the town.
Visitors who wish to hunt may arrange to do so by phoning the Secretary,
Henry Reeves on + 353 46 43138. The cost per day for overseas visitors
is c€200 plus the cost of hiring a horse. Henry Reeves will organize
this, if required.
