Ways I can help hard of hearing people communicate with me

Before you talk to a hard of hearing person get their attention by tapping them on their shoulder

Turn down any background noises that you can

Don't shout at them but talk slightly louder and slower

Speak clearly to them

If they don't know what you say the first time, rephrase the question

You have to be between 3-6 feet away so that they can read your lips.

Don't block your face
