 Juhasz-Kutya (hungarian for shepherds dog) started 1980 in Germany with one dog. Soon after having our first kuvasz we started breeding this magnificient breed.

In Germany we had up to 5 kuvasz and lived on a small farm in Birkenau.

In 1989 we moved to Ireland where we live on a 12 acre farm (click here to view). or take a virtual tour. We breed Trakehner horses as well.
Our dogs live mostly outdoors, but they come for the occasional visit into the house. They enjoy to protect the farm and keep predators away.  
  We believe in breeding tough and healthy animals with a natural guarding instinct. We put great emphasis on their temperament. Our kuvasz are members of the family and are save with kids. Juhasz-Kutya has offspring standing in Ireland, UK,Germany and Canada.
